The 38th Annual Conference of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) will take place on 19th & 20th August 2025 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo!

Media Conference on 38th Annual Conference

The press conference for the 38th Annual Conference and 4th National Apex Awards of the OPA, took place on the 28th of July at the OPA auditorium. The signature event of the OPA will be conducted on the 19th and 20th of August at Cinnamon Life Hotel, Colombo.  The media briefing was attended by President Mr. Sujeewa Lal Dahanayake, President-Elect and Chairman of the 38th Annual Conference Organising Committee, Mr. Jayantha Gallehewa, General Secretary Mr. Tisara de Silva, Vice President and 38th Annual Conference Organising Committee Convener Mr. V. Rameshkumar and other key office bearers. They provided an in-depth overview of the upcoming Conference, including an introduction to the theme: “Resilience and Outpace Redefined: Thriving and Adapting.”.

Media personnel from all leading print and electronic media organizations were present at the briefing to learn more about the Inauguration of the 38th OPA Annual Conference, where the National Apex Awards will be presented. Detailed information was presented on the five Technical Sessions scheduled to be held the following day. The logo of the Annual Conference, symbolizing the strength and adaptability of the nation’s people to build a more resilient and prosperous future, was also unveiled at this event.

The sponsors of the 38th Annual Conference of the OPA were formally acknowledged for their valuable contributions during a press conference held at the OPA Auditorium on July 29th. The occasion was attended by Chairpersons, Chief Executive Officers, and senior managers representing the sponsoring organizations.

The Annual Conference of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) is held each year under a theme that addresses a matter of national significance.
