A seminar was conducted on “Impact of Recent Tariff Revision of US on Sri Lankan Economy and the Way Forward” on the 8th of May at the OPA. Organized jointly by the National Issues Committee and the Seminars, Workshops and Programmes Committee of the OPA, the event featured Mr. Shiran Fernando, Chief Economic Policy Advisor, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Tharinda Jayawardana, Head of Investment Banking, Commercial Bank and Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe, Chairman, Export Development Board, as expert guest speakers while the moderator was Mr. Bhanu Wijayaratne, Vice President and Chairman – NIC.
