A brainstorming session on “Establishment of Rail Freight Stations in the Free Trade Zone and the Port of Colombo” organized by the Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics Committee took place at the OPA auditorium on 6^th March, 2025. Key figures from the Ports Authority, Railway Department, academia and the relevant sectors participated in the deliberations, based on which a concept paper will be produced for the attention of the authorities.
